Here's a clue! - It is in your heart!
But something is wrong!
"The heart is the most deceitful (crooked, polluted)
thing there is and desperately wicked (incurable, sick, and woeful) No one can
really know how bad it is! The Living Bible (Jeremiah 17:9)!
Your heart tells you that if you get certain things, you
will live in peace and satisfaction, you will find and have strength and be
safe from your enemies, you will have health and be prosperous in all that you do,
and you will have authority and operate in liberty and freedom instead of
servitude. Problem is that you seek, strive, work, plan, and often achieve, but
you do not find the satisfaction that your heart promised you.
That is the deceitfulness of your heart.
This is what leads us into addictions, excesses, bigotry,
anger, frustration, rage, sexual perversions, wars, slavery and every kind of
evil in the world.
